  • $4,866 revenue (after Gumroad’s fees)
  • $9.99 ARPU (no discounts in week 1)
  • 237 free upgrades to v1 buyers

The geography

  1. USA — 38% of sales
  2. UK — 14%
  3. Canada — 9%
  4. Germany — 7%
  5. Australia — 5%
  6. Other 27 countries — 27%

The top traffic sources

  1. Direct / Email — 42% (the pre-launch email blast worked)
  2. Google organic — 28% (the SEO articles drove it)
  3. Discord — 18% (the #announcements channel worked)
  4. Twitter / X — 8% (the thread worked)
  5. Other — 4%

What we learned

  1. The pre-launch email blast was the #1 driver. 42% of sales came from the email list. The list is the asset.
  2. SEO took 6 months to pay off. The articles published in Tiers 6-15 drove 28% of sales. SEO is a long game.
  3. Discord is not optional. 18% of sales came from Discord. The community is the conversion engine.

What this means for the next launch

The Black Friday bundle push (Nov 24) should 5x these numbers. Expected: 2,000-3,000 bundle sales at $74.99 = $150,000-225,000 in Black Friday revenue alone.
