Aeldric Vaelion is the public face of the Alliance and the first quest-giver at Convergence. He is a knight-arcanist — a hybrid of combat knight and arcane mage, wielding both a longsword crackling with bright blue arcane lightning and arcane spells. His armor is dark navy blue with intricate gold filigree. Glowing blue runic gems line his chest plate. He has windswept sandy-brown hair, piercing blue eyes, and a long navy cape. He does not wear a helmet — never has. His kite shield bears a sun-and-star motif.

Gameplay

In EFER, Aeldric is the first NPC you meet at Convergence. He gives you the attunement quest, explains the 30-day reset, and helps you bind to your faction. His shop sells your first weapon (steel longsword, 12 essence) and first shield (kite shield, 8 essence). After the binding quest, you do not see him for a while — he is busy.
