Every EFER launch gets a press release. The template is 6 paragraphs. Total time: 30 minutes. Here is the template.
The 6-paragraph template
Paragraph 1: The headline (1 sentence)
Name the product, the launch date, and the one compelling fact. Example: “EFER launches lore book v2 on Nov 17 with the EFURC TCG appendix and a free upgrade for v1 buyers.”
Paragraph 2: The context (2-3 sentences)
Why this launch matters. Example: “The v2 edition includes 60,000 words, 8 faction chapters, and 6,000 words of dev commentary — making it the most comprehensive EFER codex to date.”
Paragraph 3: The features (3-5 bullets)
List the top 3-5 features. Use the same structure for each: bold name + 1-sentence description.
Paragraph 4: The proof (1-2 stats)
Add 1-2 social-proof stats. Example: “The v1 edition sold 200+ copies in 6 months and earned 4.8 stars on average reader reviews.”
Paragraph 5: The quote (1 quote)
Add a quote from a player or reviewer. Example: “I came for the Roblox game. I stayed for the lore book. Chapter 4 changed how I think about the Cursed faction.”
Paragraph 6: The CTA (1 sentence)
Close with a clear call-to-action. Example: “Lore book v2 is available now at farouks-fusion.com/lore-book-v2 for $9.99, with a free upgrade for v1 buyers.”
Why this works
- Headline first. Journalists decide in the first 3 seconds. The headline is what makes them read.
- Context second. Once they read, they need to understand why it matters.
- Features third. Once they understand, they need to see what they get.
- Proof fourth. Once they are interested, they need to see proof it is real.
- Quote fifth. Quotes are what journalists copy into their stories.
- CTA sixth. Once they trust, give them one click to learn more.
What this means for your launches
If you are launching a product (ebook, course, software, game), use this template. The template works because it matches how journalists think.
