Gearson is the Maintenance-Master of the Clockwork Dominion — the infrastructure lead who oversees the maintenance swarm. The maintenance swarm is the autonomous repair construct system that can rebuild damaged units in the field. A construct that would take days to repair manually can be restored in minutes by the swarm. This is what makes Clockwork forces extraordinarily resilient — they do not retreat when damaged, they repair and continue. Gearson’s single glowing amber eye and brass + oil-black chassis are the visual signature of the Clockwork’s mechanical leadership.

Gameplay

In EFURC v0.2, Gearson is the named NPC for the Clockwork cards. He provides the maintenance-swarm mechanic — Clockwork units destroyed in battle return to hand at reduced cost (the maintenance swarm rebuilds them). This is the Clockwork’s information-and-resilience advantage.
