A press kit is only useful if a journalist can find what they need in 60 seconds. Here is the 7-asset list that makes it work.
The 7 assets
- Logos. 3 versions: full color, monochrome, transparent background. PNG + SVG. 2000×2000 minimum.
- Hero screenshots. 5 high-resolution screenshots from the game. 1920×1080 minimum. No UI overlay.
- Concept art. 3 concept art images. The flagship pieces (faction hero, realm hero, NPC hero).
- Press release. 1-paragraph + 1-paragraph + 5-bullet + 1-quote + 1-CTA format.
- Fact sheet. 1-page PDF with: developer name, genre, platform, release date, price, key features, ESRB rating.
- Trailer. 60-second video, captioned, 4K. Direct download link + YouTube embed link.
- Developer bio + headshot. 3-paragraph bio + 2 headshot photos (1 formal, 1 casual).

Each asset covers a specific journalist need:
- Logos → articles that mention the game need a logo
- Screenshots → articles need a hero image
- Concept art → articles that focus on the art style need art
- Press release → articles need quotes + facts
- Fact sheet → articles need quick reference
- Trailer → video reviews need a video
- Developer bio → profile features need a bio
What this means for journalists
A journalist covering EFER finds the press kit, downloads the assets they need, writes the article in 30 minutes. No back-and-forth emails asking “can you send me a logo.” The article gets published faster. The coverage is better.
