Concept paper · Version 2 · October 2026
Fusion Coin is the idea that everything in the Eternal Fusion universe — the games, the cards, the books, and the people who show up for them — could share one participation layer. This paper sets out what that layer would do, how it would be designed to serve players rather than speculators, and the gates it must pass before anything is built.
Status: concept. Nothing is for sale.
No token exists. There is no contract address, no presale, no airdrop, no exchange listing, and no launch date. Nothing in this paper is financial advice or an offer. Anyone selling “Fusion Coin” today is running a scam.
1. Status at a glance
| Item | State |
|---|---|
| Fusion Coin token | Not created |
| Contract address | None |
| Sale, presale, IDO, airdrop | None — and fundraising through a token is not part of this design |
| Blockchain | Not chosen (see section 7) |
| Supply and tokenomics | Undefined until the utility is designed |
| Fusion Points | Live — the participation layer, running today, with no cash value |
2. Why a version 2
The earlier Fusion Coin whitepaper laid out a big vision: an ecosystem token spanning games, community, and a marketplace. That vision is kept here. But the earlier draft also described things that do not belong in an honest public document: allocations to a private and public token sale, a presale to raise capital, staking framed as passive income, claims of no identity checks, backing by gold, silver or land, a 2025 launch schedule that did not happen, and “case studies” written as though they had already happened. They had not.
Version 2 replaces that draft as the public Fusion Coin document. It keeps the ambition, removes everything that reads like an investment pitch, and adds what the first draft lacked: a design that starts from what players actually do.
3. The vision
Eternal Fusion is one universe told through several products: EFER, the action RPG; EFURC, the trading card game; EFEMM, the match-3 card battler; the lore book; and the community around them. Today, what you do in one of them means nothing in the others. A playtester who shaped Wave A of the cards is a stranger in the RPG. A lore reader who has followed every faction gets no recognition on the forum.
Fusion Coin is the proposal to fix that: one identity and one record of participation that follows you across the universe. Like the Convergence in the lore, it is about many realms finally touching.
4. Design principles
Earned, not bought
Participation is recognised for what you do — playing, testing, creating, helping. The design does not rely on anyone buying in.
Utility before token
Every use must work first without a blockchain. A token is only considered if it adds something real that a normal account cannot.
No yield, no price story
No staking returns, no compounding, no buybacks, no “number go up”. If a feature only makes sense when the price rises, it is cut.
Fair to players
Nothing that affects winning in a game can be bought. Rewards are cosmetic, social, or access-based — never pay-to-win.
Lawful by design
Built to follow the rules where players live, including identity and consumer-protection rules — not to route around them.
Allowed to stop
If the gates in section 9 cannot be met, Fusion Coin stays a concept permanently. That is an acceptable outcome.
5. The participation model
The earlier draft proposed four separate tokens. Version 2 folds them into three roles and, importantly, recommends that most of them should not be tradable at all. Recognition you can sell stops meaning anything.
Recognition — “Community Tokens”, reimagined
Proposed form: non-transferable · tied to your account
A permanent record of what you did: Wave-A playtester, first-season forum regular, lore contributor, tournament finalist, bug hunter. Each is a badge that stays with you and shows on your profile, your forum posts, and eventually inside the games.
Because it cannot be sold, it can only be earned — which is exactly what makes it worth having. This is the role Fusion Points already plays today.
Access — “Hubs”, reimagined
Proposed form: non-transferable passes unlocked by recognition
Doors that open because of what you have done: early builds of EFER regions, closed card-design previews, creator tools, playtest channels, and a vote on creative questions such as which faction gets the next spotlight or which card art ships. Access is granted by participation, not purchased.
Utility — “Card Coins”, reimagined
The only role where a transferable token might ever make sense — and still undecided
A cross-game in-universe currency for cosmetic and social uses: card backs and frames in EFURC, cosmetic effects in EFER, tournament entry, and swapping cosmetics between players. It would be earned in play.
This is the role with the most legal and design risk, so it carries the most open questions (section 10). If a normal in-game currency does the job, that is what gets built instead.
6. How the pieces connect
The path runs one step at a time, and each step has to prove itself before the next one is considered:
- Fusion Points (live) — earn points and ranks for taking part in the forum and on articles.
- Recognition badges — permanent badges for real milestones, such as the Wave-A playtest.
- Access passes — badges start unlocking previews, playtests and creative votes.
- Cross-game identity — the same record recognised inside the games.
- Token decision — only then: does putting any of this on a blockchain add something real? Launch, revise, or stop.
Fusion Points are not convertible into Fusion Coin, and no conversion is promised. Points recognise participation; they are not a pre-sale of anything.
7. Technical direction
The earlier draft proposed running on both Ethereum and Solana, linked by a cross-chain bridge. That stays on the table as an idea, not a decision: no blockchain has been chosen. If a token is ever built, the choice will be judged on:
- Cost per action — earning a badge or swapping a cosmetic must cost players effectively nothing.
- Ease of use — players should not need to understand wallets to take part; an account login should be enough.
- Security — cross-chain bridges have been behind some of the largest losses in the industry, so a single chain is the safer starting point.
- Audits — mature tooling and independent auditors available for the chosen chain.
- Energy use — consistent with the Energy & Liberty values of the wider project.
8. Community voice
The earlier draft described governance through token voting. Version 2 separates voice from money: votes would be weighted by recognition earned, not by tokens held, so the most active players — not the largest wallets — shape the creative direction. Votes would cover creative and community questions (faction spotlights, card art, event themes, forum features). They would not cover finances, and they would be advisory: the studio stays accountable for its decisions.
That can start today without any blockchain, on the forums, using Fusion Points ranks.
9. Gates before anything is built
All five must be met before any token is created. Until then, Fusion Coin remains a concept.
| Gate | What it means | State |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Real products | Games with enough players that cross-game recognition matters | In progress |
| 2. Proven utility | Recognition and access working off-chain first, and players actually using them | Started — Fusion Points |
| 3. Legal review | Qualified advice in the EU, including whether the MiCA crypto-asset rules apply and what they would require | Not started |
| 4. Independent audit | Any contract reviewed by an external security auditor, with the report published | Not started |
| 5. Public documentation | Announced in News, with full documentation and risks — before anything goes live | Not started |
10. Open questions
- Does any role need to be on a blockchain at all, or does a well-built account system do everything players need?
- If cosmetics can be swapped between players, how is that kept fair and free of real-money trading pressure?
- How should recognition earned before a cross-game identity exists be carried over?
- How do younger players take part safely, given that EFER runs on Roblox?
- What would make the community say this improved their experience, rather than complicated it?
These are real questions, not rhetorical ones. Bring answers to the forums.
11. What changed from the earlier draft
| Earlier draft | Version 2 |
|---|---|
| Private sale 50%, public sale 30%, presale/IDO | Removed. No token sale, no fundraising through a token |
| Staking rewards, passive income, auto-compounding | Removed. No yield of any kind |
| “Zero KYC/AML” | Removed. Lawful by design, including identity rules |
| Gold, silver or land backing | Removed. No asset backing is planned |
| 10 trillion supply, fixed allocations | Withdrawn. Undefined until utility is designed |
| Four tradable tokens | Three roles; recognition and access non-transferable |
| Token-weighted governance | Recognition-weighted, advisory, creative questions only |
| Quarter-by-quarter 2025 launch roadmap | Replaced by gates; no dates |
| Case studies of past partnerships | Removed. They described events that had not happened |
