What we learned
- The email list is the #1 revenue driver. 47% of Black Friday sales came from email. Building the list all year paid off in one day.
- Discord is the #2 revenue driver. 23% of sales came from Discord. The pinned message + early announcement mattered.
- /black-friday/ is a real conversion page. 18% direct traffic to /black-friday/ means the page ranks + converts. The live countdown timer + price anchors + scarcity copy all worked.
What this means for Q1 2027
The 312 Black Friday buyers are now in the email list. Q1 2027 launches (Steam full release, lore book v2.1, EFURC v0.3) email this list. Repeat-buyer rate for Q1: 15-20% = 47-62 Q1 buyers from Black Friday alone.
